Paul Strand was a filmmaker and a photographer in the 1900s in New York and advocated straight photography.
In 1916, Paul Strand massively influenced photography with his Twin Lakes, Connecticut photograph. Through this photo, Paul was trying to explore cubist art and the different perspectives from where a photo can be taken from.
